L'AISI 441 est un acier inoxydable ferritique à teneur nominale de 18% de chrome (Cr) stabilisé au niobium (Nb).
L'inox 441 offre une bonne résistance à haute température qui dépasse celle des aciers inoxydables des types 409 et 439.
L'acier inoxydable de type 441 offre une bonne résistance à la corrosion dans de nombreux environnements de gaz d'échappement, équivalente à celle du type 439.
